Posted: 28 July 2010 A further project report for the LONCETT ACL Project is now available on the LONCETT website: Adult and community learning providers’ response to the 2007 reforms for the lifelong learning sector with illustrative case studies of effective staff development and workforce development planning This report presents findings from an investigation into the progress that ACL providers have made in the professionalisation of their staff since the 2007 reforms for the lifelong learning sector. Concentrating on strategic planning for workforce development, planning for initially qualifying teaching staff and their CPD the report identifies actions that providers have taken for workforce development planning and implementation and proposes best practice elements for strategic workforce development planning, implementation of ITE and CPD aspects of the 2007 reforms.
