NIACE research examines learning needs of the disengaged

Recognising the rising social and economic need to reduce numbers of young people and adults not in education, employment or training, LSIS commissioned NIACE to carry out research - to improve understanding of their motivations, aspirations and behaviours and the factors that shape their lives and experience - in order to be in a position to develop effective support services for the sector.
